The Sukhi Project Meditation Workshop: "Mental Wellness in the Modern Workplace"

  • 17 Sep 2020
  • 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Please join APABA-DC on Thursday, September 17, from 7:00-8:00 pm ET to explore the role of mindfulness in the modern workplace with Rahul Kulkarni, CEO of The Sukhi Project. As part of the workshop, Rahul will lead us in a guided meditation.

The Sukhi Project is a DC-based venture dedicated to improving employee wellness and corporate mindfulness. The organization works with a variety of clients, from McKinsey to The World Bank, to improve employee emotional health. It offers remote and culturally sensitive programming including mindfulness workshops, therapy/coaching, emotional sentiment analysis, and emotional wellness gamification.

Rahul has a background in employee wellness, mindfulness, and mental health. He's also a former McKinsey consultant, worked in global health around the world, and spent 6 months conducting group therapy sessions in Boston. He studied clinical psychology at Tufts Medical, abnormal psychology at Cornell, and received an MBA from MIT. He also completed 10 days of silence and meditation training in India and recently led corporate mindfulness workshops for teams at Amazon, Lyft, and Verizon.

Please RSVP here. A zoom link and dial-in information will be sent to individuals who have RSVP'd before the event. If you have any questions, please contact Mary Yang or Yifang Zhao at programs@apaba-dc.org. This will be the first of a wellness series that our Programs committee hopes to share with you this year during this trying time.
