Docent Tour of the Hung Liu Exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery

Time: 4 pm EST, Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021

Location: In-person at the National Portrait Gallery; 8th and G Streets NW
Washington, DC 20001

APABA-DC is excited to invite you to an exclusive docent-led tour of the exhibition, Hung Liu: Portraits of Promised Lands, at the National Portrait Gallery. This is the first time that an Asian American female artist gets a solo retrospective at the National Portrait Gallery. The docent tour is led by the curator of the exhibition, Dorothy Moss, who is also the curator of painting and sculpture at the National Portrait Gallery and coordinating curator of the Smithsonian American Women’s History Initiative. The tour is generously sponsored by Haynes & Boone, LLP.

Space is limited and APABA-DC members will be prioritized. Please email Yifang Zhao at president-elect@apaba-dc.org if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you on this leisurely weekend afternoon over history, art, and shared humanity.

All visitors are required to wear a mask while visiting Smithsonian museums and indoor spaces, regardless of vaccination status. By attending this event, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to assume voluntarily the potential risks related to any exposure to the COVID-19 virus in connection with the event.
