Our Panelist this year is Ben Cheng.
Ben has advised hundreds of individuals on finding careers that most resonate with them. Ben has a particularly unique perspective of the diversity of legal sector jobs available for attorneys: he has counseled both JD and LLM students as a professor and career advisor at Georgetown Law, and prior to that, he worked at a top 10 AmLaw firm, at an international investment banking firm in New York City, and at an international consulting firm in Boston. Ben's experiences have allowed him to collaborate with many companies and firms, and through those opportunities, he has developed a nuanced understanding of what employers want and need. In addition to PBG, Ben is a co-founder of Perez & Cheng LLC, a diversity & inclusion consultancy, and runs DiversityHive, the legal industry’s only diversity & inclusion newsletter and home of the Big Law Racial Injustice Response Tracker. He also teaches a class for first-generation Georgetown undergraduate students. Ben holds a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and an A.B. in Biochemistry from Harvard University.
