Artificial intelligence is already changing how lawyers research, draft, advise, and manage risk. This APABA-DC panel brings together attorneys across practice and in-house roles to share practical, real-world perspectives on how AI is being used in legal work today, where it adds value, and where it creates new challenges. Panelists will discuss how they integrate AI into workflows, how they maintain quality control and confidentiality, and how they think about professional responsibility when AI is in the loop. The conversation will also explore career impact: how AI is reshaping training, judgment, and what it means to be an effective lawyer in the years ahead.

Panelists

  • Lance Murashige, Partner, Hogan Lovells LLP
  • Mark Villapando, Associate, King & Spalding LLP
  • FeiFei Ren, Ethics & Compliance Counsel (APAC) | Director | Legal, Synopsys Inc

Fee: $15 for non-APABA-DC members; free for APABA-DC members
